Futurama Season 11: What to Expect?
Some classic series tropes will be revisited in the new season, including Fry and Leela’s romance and the enigma surrounding Nibbler’s litter box. In addition, there will be a plethora of timely quips and engaging storylines, ranging from vaccines and Bitcoin to the complexities of cancel culture.
The eleventh season begins exactly where the previous series finale, “Meanwhile,” left off, with Fry and Leela now married and elderly. The remainder of the universe, however, remains frozen in time until the Professor intervenes and returns everyone to the year 3023.
The crew of the Planet Express explores the moon, encounters bizarre extraterrestrial species, and even travels through time. Along the way, the show continues to satirize modern culture and politics in a clever manner, dealing with topics such as climate change, artificial intelligence, and the gig economy.
