The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3: Will There Be Another Season on Netflix?
The Lincoln Lawyer is a hit with everyone. In May 2022, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo took over the part of Mickey Haller in the Netflix series based on Michael Connelly’s books. Now, we want season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer.
The first season was based on The Brass Verdict, the second book in the series by Connelly. The second season was based on the fourth book, The Fifth Witness. For season 2’s shocking new case, Lana Parrilla and Yaya DaCosta joined Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, and the rest of the group.
Even though each season of the show is based on a different book in Connelly’s series, there are still connections that make fans want more and more. Will Netflix renew The Lincoln Lawyer for a third season and adapt another Mickey Haller crime story after the second season’s two parts?
Is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 Coming to Netflix?
As of July 2023, when the first part comes out, Netflix has not renewed or dropped the series. This means that The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 could still happen. Since the first season was such a hit, we wouldn’t expect the service to end the show. With its two-part drop, the second season is expected to have higher ratings than the first.
The fact that there are seven Mickey Haller books in Michael Connelly’s series and only four have been turned into TV shows (The Reversal, The Gods of Guilt, The Law of Innocence, and Resurrection Walk in 2023) helps The Lincoln Lawyer’s Case for a second season. Depending on how well the show does, many more of these stories could be turned into episodes.
Part 2 of season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer doesn’t start until Thursday, August 3. If Netflix doesn’t tell us before these shows come out, we should find out later in August or this fall. The streamer has been renewing shows much more quickly lately. This could be because of the writers’ strike.

Who Will Be in The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3?
If there is a third season, it’s very possible that Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, will be back. He has grown into the role over the last two seasons, and we have to say that he does a great job.
The 42-year-old actor has also said many nice things about the character, which makes it clear that he would jump at the chance to do more shows.
Before the second season came out, he told Forbes, “One of the things I like most about Mickey Haller is that he’s very human. He’s the hero of the story, but he has problems that any man might have, like getting divorced, living with a teenage daughter, being addicted to drugs, and being stressed out at work.
“He is very weak and has many flaws. That’s why I think people connect with his character, and that’s why they want him to do well.
In addition to Manuel, it’s likely that some of the other main players will also come back for season three. This includes Maggie McPherson, Mickey’s first ex-wife, and a lawyer, played by Neve Campbell, and Lorna Crane, Mickey’s second ex-wife and a legal assistant, played by Becki Newton.
What Would The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 Be About?
Because of Michael Connelley, there is a lot of material in his books that could be used in the series. But since the books haven’t been adapted in the order in which they were written, it’s hard to know what plots we might see next.
Say The Reversal was picked to be the main story. In this version of the show, Mickey would “become more and more frustrated with his job as a defense lawyer” as he takes on the part of the prosecutor in the retrial of a kidnapper and killer who was already found guilty.
But if The Gods of Guilt were chosen, the story would be about a crime that isn’t as common, as Mickey looks into a “digital pimp.”
