Peacock’s The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 showed a wide range of real-life highs and lows among the 305-based friends, from a real-time marriage breakup to shady gifts.
Now, fans can look forward to more action in the sun back where the series began. On May 9, executives from NBC Universal said that RHOM Season 6 will return to Bravo and that new shows will air on Peacock the next day.
Fans and critics both agreed that the revival had already hit new heights before Bravo said it would be back. Claire Franken of TVLine called RHOM the “best Housewives franchise” in February, and Michael Arceneaux of HuffPost went even further and called it the “best reality franchise on TV.”
“Many of the Bravo franchises are full of fake stories and drama, but Peacock gives Housewives fans what they love most: real people and a chance to get away from it all,” Arceneaux wrote.
Franken, on the other hand, said, “In other franchises, we have sprinter vans, psychic readings, and stuffy formal dinners with assigned seating.”
We have OnlyFans photoshoots, witchy healing events, and pool parties with flamingo floaties in Miami. The Real Housewives of Miami is new, true, and oh my god, it’s fun to watch.”
Now that it’s true that RHOM will be back, here’s everything you need to know about Season 6.
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 Cast
In all Housewives franchises, the casts aren’t announced until after filming is done, because producers sometimes try out women in different parts.
RHOM’s formula seems to be working, though, and the main group has stayed the same since the show moved to Peacock in 2021: Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Alexia Nepola (formerly Echevarria), Guerdy Abraira, Dr. Nicole Martin, and Julia Lemigova.
Marysol Patton, Adriana de Moura, and Kiki Barth also played friends in Peacock’s remake of the original Bravo series.
After the “intense” reunion for RHOM Season 5, Nicole seemed to already promise that they’d be back for Season 6. “I want to say that when we left the gathering, everyone was like, ‘Oh, everything was fine,'” the anesthesiologist told Entertainment Tonight in February, using Kathy Hilton’s words. “But, yeah, no. Things are left open, and it will be interesting to see where the next season takes us.”
After fighting with Larsa, Alexia, and Marysol at different times during Season 5, she would also “like an apology from so many people from the show.” “I don’t know, that would be nice, you know?” Nicole said. I mean, they said some pretty bad things, and it would be nice to be able to say, “Hey, that was wrong.” I should have looked out for you, I get it…’ I’m not sure, but I’d like it if OGs stopped making blind agreements. For them to say, “Hey, OG, you were wrong this one time. I agree with the newbie.”
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 Possible Start Date
Several cast members, like Julia, Adriana, and Lisa, said on social media that shooting for Season 6 started in April. RHOM Seasons 4 and 5 both came out in December on Peacock, so it’s likely that a possible Season 6 will also come out in December 2023. Keep an eye out for an official date, though.
This post will be changed as more information about Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Miami comes out.
